Comprehensive Eye Exams for Every Age

A Naper Grove Vision Care examination includes refraction, eye coordination, depth perception, peripheral vision, color vision, a glaucoma test, a cataract evaluation, and a full health evaluation. We take photographs of internal eye structures as needed.

How Often Should You Be Seen?

• Patients who wear glasses or contact lenses should have a yearly exam.
• People with normal, healthy eyes should have a yearly exam.
• Dilated eye exams are essential for people with diabetes, glaucoma, and many other eye conditions.
• Children need to have their eyes checked before they enter kindergarten. See us sooner, during infancy, if you suspect a problem or there is a family history of eye problems.

Protect your eyesight and prevent complications. Have your eyesight checked regularly.

Illinois Mandates Children's Eye Exams

Illinois is the third state to mandate children's eye exams before a child enters school. Children starting kindergarten need a comprehensive eye exam from an optometrist or ophthalmologist before school begins. A student who moves to Illinois from another state also needs an eye exam from an optometrist or ophthalmologist.
