Dr. Nicole Hanna is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist who grew up in Naperville, IL. A proud graduate of Neuqua Valley High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from Benedictine University. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
During her clinical training, Dr. Hanna completed rotations at several institutions, including the Illinois Eye Institute (Chicago, IL), Vision Care Specialists (Des Plaines, IL), Imperial Healthcare Institute (Dubai, UAE), and the Edward Hines VA/Loyola Outpatient Center (Maywood, IL). Notably, she was among the select few in her class to complete an international externship in Dubai, where she delivered eye care exams in both English and Arabic.
Dr. Hanna has specialized training in primary eye care, dry eye management, and the treatment of advanced ocular diseases, including glaucoma. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Tomb and Key Honors Society, and was involved with the Contact Lens Society during her optometric education. She jumpstarted her career practicing in Central Illinois, where she served patients in the Peoria and Pekin areas. Today, Dr. Hanna is excited to be back in her hometown of Naperville, where she continues to provide high-quality, patient-focused eye care.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Hanna brings a diverse and inclusive approach to her practice. Outside the clinic, she enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with her family, and exploring the outdoors.
