Dr. Steinberg was raised in Bartlett and graduated from Bartlett High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she majored in psychology. She graduated summa cum laude with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2016. She elected to continue her optometric education by completing advanced residency training in primary care and ocular disease at the Illinois College of Optometry. During her residency, she worked in the urgent eye care services and ocular disease clinics. She provides full-scope primary eye care with advanced training in ocular pathology.
Throughout her optometric education, Dr. Steinberg worked with students in several courses as a teaching assistant. She has also presented her research at national optometric meetings. She is a member of the Tomb and Key Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, and Illinois and American Optometric Association.
Dr. Steinberg resides in Winfield with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking new recipes, and traveling to Disney World in her spare time.
